The food court occupies a bright, ceremonial hall within the historic building of Kazansky Railway
Station, where the architecture itself defines the scale and atmosphere. High vaults, rhythmic
structural elements, and natural light create the feeling of an urban interior in which contemporary
functions are organically integrated into a historical context.
The concept is based on the idea of an inner courtyard with a second-level balcony — an approach
that creates the sense of an open public space within the station.
The generous area made it possible to zone the hall flexibly, organize visitor flows, and form
individual units for cafés of different chains.
The project involved comprehensive work: from the overall architectural concept and furniture
selection to the planning structure and integration of various food operators. As a result, the food
court became more than a transit zone — it turned into a полноценное public space where historic
surroundings and modern urban life coexist in a unified rhythm.
